There is nothing a man would love more than beautiful intellectual 

I love your mind body and soul, so its not predominately sexual 

Passionate with her thoughts persuasive in her ways 

Beautiful is her mind so don't keep it in a cage 

Educated in books dedicated beyond looks

What a way she has of viewing life

Would I be wrong for questioning the things we value people 

Money, sex, drugs and fame but the roots of it all are evil 

Watching the news at 6am all stories they cover, tragic 

I'm sick of seeing Nopeople die and the world in all this madness 

On the other hand there are people starving loosing homes don't know what the hell to do 

Fighting for government benefits can't get their case approved 

Magnetic motors could power the world 

For less than what we pay 

So the governments suppose to care about US, well at least that's what they say

Broken

My admiration of a womans presence in all its essence

Must i pay for another mans mistakes from past times in the present

You would think good women want good guys and likewise

From my experience thats not the case in my eyes

Bad guys appeal to most woman, generically hardwired to feel safe in the presence of those

While good men are left to pay, with the resentment they show 

Broken like finely crafted china scattered about

There's a little baby 

With two little hands

5 Months old

Watching her for a little while

When I was young life was so good

The landlord is knocking my bills overdue 

My babie is crying don't know what to do 

Times are tough more now than ever 

Gotta come up with a plan that's crafty and clever

Imagine awakening to a cold dark silence

Alone in the world like being lost on an island

This enormous globe once full of lively souls

I forgot to eat breakfast my stomach is flushed

as i walked out the door i slipped down the steps i said man i nearly broke my neck

Then I run to the bus as it speeds away I say great what a way to start your day

Get into work and the boss says you’re late have your desk clean buy the end of the day 

clean out my desk I leave in a hurry from all of the tears my vision is blurry

I’m crossing the street I get hit by a car  I cannot see nothing now but stars

Now with a fractured rib and a dislocated spine the doctor says man are your out of your

mind I say no I was in a hurry i just didn't have time I could have avoided it all

yes we can, I believe that if we stand side by side we have to power to over come turmoil and disaster 

yes we can, freed from the tiereney of bondage but yet we are still oppressed with segregation together we stand and divided we fall

yes we can, stimulate our economy and bring a main source of income to the united states of america

The Root of All Evil

Money is the source of all our needs 

It is also the source of evil and greed

We plot we plan and some invest 

Or a lucky number seven guess

Some broke and poor without a dime 

They steal to get and commit some crime

But you still need money either way it goes

Strong and intense a burning desire

only passion explains this raging fire 

To lust after the things we don't have

It will never be good, most likely bad

Sparked from a urge, or flare of emotions

known to cause pain and ruin devotion

although money and sex are mostly the things

some could be tempted by physical attraction

while another may just be one for the passion

Forever Can feel like a lifetime, but those moments would be well spent with you 
Some people search there entire life to have this thing we do 

I would not let this slip away what is so firmly in my grasp 
I have some questions for you, hope you don't mind if I ask 

Would you walk with me down this path we call life 
Don't worry if things go wrong I I know we can make them right 

would you care to raise a child with me and have those moments make you smile 
You know that if you do I'll make it worth your while 

For this final question I hope that you approve 
now the answer that im looking for is something like I do 

Will you marry me and help me raise this kid

Crispy and seasoned deep fried real good 

I want me some chicken that taste like it should 

cruchy and tender all white meat inside 

and a coup of kool-aid will hit the spot just right 

Then i’d jump in the bed and call it a night 

But Man that chicken ain't nowhere in sight 

Take Flight

Take flight, rise to heights unseen and depths un-explored 
Be bold and experience things you've never seen before 
Go scuba diving, snorkeling or scaling the ocean floor 
Catch a live show or concert of some one you adore 
Take flight I say , take flight right now on this very day 
Travel across the contents somewhere very far, far away 
Don't drown in tears and sorrow, or the worries of tomorrow 
Trust these words I tell you, this is advice we all could borrow 
So live in the now, although it may not be right 
At least this way you wont regret that you have taken flight

Why has life thrown me to and from 
To the deepest depths and through sewer scum 
I have battled my way through test and trials 
Although I always keep a smile 
Why do the darkest hours last a while and the problems always seem to pile 
If life was meant to test my faith 
This seems a little out of place 
Let the light guide me through the haze

Fortune

A question I have found myself wondering, what is fortune?
Is it defined by money we accumulate, should I take a risk to gamble or something

Is it luck or most nearly defined by chance
I guess I will just have to wait and see, but I assume it's defined by astrology

Fame and fortune are hand in hand
Abundance and wealth are just part of the plan

Fortune is something in everyone's dreams
It's more about chance and not all it seems

Close but distant to completely opposite minds attract 
One evening through a Cyber chat ...as I'm thinking to myself 
how dope is that 
so I propose a toast to my short  little angel 
cheers to us as I'm sure you're thankful 
we chitter we chatter we flirt and we flatter 
our conversations sporadic and sometimes scattered I know that 
this is the girl that i am after ! 
she's the coolest girl on this side of town
she turns to a smile what once was a frown 
so cheers to us and Congratulations only because 
I like the sensation 
she's smart she's funny she's all the above 
I'm enjoying this ride as we build on the love 
her presence is bright like an angel or dove 
i want to stretch forth my arms to give her a hug 
so cheers to that girl and our time together it may not be 
now but I hope its forever 

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is the season that brings us together 
We can talk and eat and do things of out pleasure 
Showing our thanks for each other 
Mother sister father and brother and all of the other relatives 
lots of people enjoy doing this 
showing family spirit as friends unite 
Its definitely something that we all like 
But this time a year only comes around once
