I guess it's fair to say money is the root to all evil
Because it's not proportionally divided between people
Money can build you up or break you down
Take you through trials and back around
It would seem that money is a test of time
though greed and fame may lead us blind
Without much in your savings no fortune at all
This is a game to play and the shots you will call
Fame and fortune, Those fashion trends
Trying to keep up when will end
Living on money indebted to others
There will be lots of pain and surely we'll suffer
We have to get away from this life of the matrix
