yes we can, I believe that if we stand side by side we have to power to over come turmoil and disaster 

yes we can, freed from the tiereney of bondage but yet we are still oppressed with segregation together we stand and divided we fall

yes we can, as a nation stand together and fight the war on terror and end the recession and bring our troops Home

yes we can, stimulate our economy and bring a main source of income to the united states of america

I believe that just as we stood up for change and came together to make history there is still more history to be made it doesn't end here

It was whispered by slaves and abolitionist as they blazed a trail towards freedom in the darkness of the night, yes we can

the words of a creed written into the founding documents that declared the destiny of a nation, yes we can

yes we can to opportunity and prosperity yes we can america, yes we can
